Vendor Inspection

Vendor inspection service involves inspecting items where they have been manufactured before being delivered. This is an extremely convenient and cost-effective way to determine whether the item complies with ITP, expressed needs, customer expectations, applicable regulations or other specific requirements.

These inspections can include the review of material certificates, visual inspection, witness and verification of non-destructive tests, review of non-destructive testing (NDT) reports, witnessed inspections, witnessed factory acceptance tests, supervision of mechanical or functional tests and pre-shipment inspections.

ITCL’s vendor inspectors are all qualified welding inspectors and the majority will hold level III certification in NDT disciplines.

Reporting

We are fully aware of the importance of providing a detailed and precise report to the client after an inspection is complete, as these reports must reflect what has been undertaken during the inspection.

ITCL have the facility via our Genesis Portal to house all client reports to ensure ease of access and to capture historic reports as a record of the project.
