Here at ITCL we are taking part in the SticknStep 50/50 challenge, raising funds by using an investment of just £50, to support our charitable efforts.
Last weekend we took part in a Grand National themed pub crawl, buying costumes and t-shirts with our £50. We have now raised £415 and will be investing some of this to raise even more! We have a range of events organised for the rest of the year including the 3 Peaks Challenge in September!
Here is a little bit more about the Wallasey based charity SticknStep, who support children with cerebral palsy and their 50/50 challenge.
Stick 'n' Step charity is giving £50 to 50 businesses and challenging them to see how much they can raise for us from that amount in a year. Our end goal is £150,000, which will enable us to move to new premises and help even more children with cerebral palsy. The launch will be an opportunity for businesses to network and swap fundraising ideas. Throughout the year Stick 'n' Step will host networking events for participants as well as a mid-Challenge BBQ. At the end of the year we will celebrate the achievements at the 50/50 Challenge Awards Ball and hand out awards for Most Raised Overall, Most Raised in a Single Event, Most Raised by an Individual or Small Business, Most Original, and Most Daring.
